Plans plans plans.
The first of the “every-single-person-who-has-impacted-my-life-in-some-way” drawings are done! This is my first time colouring in photoshop, and I’m not entirely happy with the result, yet, but I will work on it. ^_^
With six assignments to look forward to in the next two weeks, my ‘downtime’ after 10 PM has involved lots of tumblr surfing and drawing.
I had this idea the other day for drawing cartoon pictures of every single person who has impacted my life in some way (whether that be friends, family, famous dead painters, crushes, your mom) and drawing every single one of them. I will then scan them into my computer and print a poster with all of them on it.
Here are the first three people I’ve drawn so far.
The Kiss
1.5 hours, using graphic pencils and colour pencils. I used a photo I found on the Internet as reference (I’ve forgotten the site for it now… damn)
I miss drawing. I think there’s a direct relationship between how much work I have to do and how much time I spend drawing. I have a 3000-word paper due tomorrow.
Spencer looks good in a bowtie, no?
A drawing from a while ago, which I forgot to post.
A drawing for Zio.
Loosely based on Kafka, because of the red curly hair and freckles, but mainly this was done without any thought at 1 AM because I didn’t want to go to sleep. Sleep means waking up the next day and realising I am one day closer to the due date of my Magritte essay.
I should do less uni assignments and more drawings is the moral of the story.
Since we never got around to making a band, we made a zine instead.
