(Picture and tutorial found on Design Sponge)
I’ve been meaning to give Spencer a new strap cover and dress him up a little. I really should get around to it as my holiday time is running out. Eeek!

Malcolm came to visit last week.
We went to Paddy’s Markets. I fell in love with a wooden dollhouse (which I didn’t buy, because I am saving for Manchester).
We had tasty lunch.
And then we visited Myer.

I love...
… Buckley.
… vsiting my old high school because it often means free gifts, this time in the form of a blank doll and artworks made by one of my best friends.
… op shopping for sweet clothes.
… drawing for my “Everyone who has influenced my life” project.
… making dumplings with my mother.
… cross-stitching finally coming together.

Photos by the very very very talented Laurence. I urge you all to look at her photos, she is my favourite photographer of the moment.

if i was born in a different age.
I would wear all of these things (yes, even the kids items - with some amendments)
In the meantime, trawling through Sandritocat’s photostream, where I found these, will do. One day I will build a time machine (or get better at sewing, whichever is easier).

Plans, plans, plans.
I feel overwhelmed. Do you ever get that feeling where there are too many things you want to do that they all try to get your attention at once that nothing actually gets done?
Here are things I’ve got going at the moment:
French girl cross stitch project
Doing more pencil and charcoal drawings
Customing Blythes (there are 2 to be done)
Sewing tiny dresses
Sewing vintage 50’s...

So I have an idea...
I stumbled across something this evening while looking through one of my favourite dolly photographers, Sevastra000 tonight:
She made some books using her doll photos, and they look AMAZING (as above photos demonstrate). Eager for more, I tracked down the website that makes them:
http://www.blurb.com/
According to the site, I download a software, make everything there, then they print my...

Lazy days...
I’ve missed my room at home, and all my stuff. I feel like I could play “I Spy” with this picture.
I decided to start my holiday craft projects with a spot of cross-stitching. Here is my progress so far. I only realised today I had been doing cross-stitching wrong, and hence the left and right sides of the shirt look quite different. Hopefully it won’t be too...

Hurray!
I’ve been keeping quiet for a while now… but my drawings have been published!
My “Blue Lips” (shown in the second picture) is published in BLOCK 8. BLOCK is a Canberra based bi-annual creative journal. I couldn’t go to the launch party because of my hectic assessment shedule, which was a shame. However, I picked up my copy of the journal the next day when I went...

Last week in Canberra...
I’m going to Sydney tomorrow for a month or so. Here are some of the photos I’ve taken in the last week around Canberra, which I thought I should post before I leave (even though I already had a post planned - ah well, that will be done tomorrow). I think ANU campus is really beautiful, don’t you agree?
I know you must be sick of my leaves photos now… but it really is...

Damn you modcloth.
For making beautiful dresses I can’t afford:
I have spent hours today on Modcloth. Maybe I should make myself a vintage-inspired dress these holidays.

Huzzah!
After spending two solid weeks as a hermit in what I consider the darkest college room possible, writing essays and studying for exams… I am happy to say that I’ve finished for the semester! Yay!
For those of you with exams and assessments coming up, I wish you all the best. I’m heading back to Sydney soon, so I hope to see a lot of you :)
