Craft Inspiration
All the colours and patterns are making me hungry for craft-making. I always say I should learn how to knit, crochet and embroider, but I never seem to. Dammit.

Capital Style Launch!
Today was the Capital Style launch picnic, and I finally got to wear the bow tie I got from Salvos the other day.
Unfortunately the weather wasn’t that great, so we ended up having a picnic in my room. It consisted of bread, dips, crackers and cheese, salmon, and fizzy drinks.
For those who don’t know, Capital Style is going to be a Canberra street fashion blog I’ll...

A Day Out
Today I met Melissa and Alexis for some op shopping fun.
Before we left we stocked up on some food.
Melissa was wearing the cutest blue/red/white combination, and Alexis bought an amazing vintage radio. She named it George.
Since we were there, we also went to the Fyshwick food markets, and bought milkshakes.
This little fellow is Prince from the Katamari series. I made him...

What actually goes on when you customise a Blythe.
She’ll be wearing rubber bands on her head until tomorrow, when her glue sets. Thanks Jade for all your help! :)

Spencer & Zio's Big Date
Zio was a little shy, and wouldn’t look him in the eye, but I think she made a good impression on him. I hope they see more of each other in the future :)
I got Spencer another lens today. It’s an EF 50 mm f/1.8, which basically means it can take bokeh photos (i.e blurry, out of focus areas - like all these photos). I have decided to name the lens Morgan, so technically...

Making things!
So I finished sewing the autumn skirt! I’m wearing it with the new Oxford heels I mentioned in a previous post (and the orange tights make an appearace again! I love them)
BG came over and we decided to make a pair of plush twins. We found a pattern in a really cute Japanese craft book.
We got a little tired and hungry, so we went out to Nandos for lunch.

I'm making a ghost girl...
She’s going to have fluffy white hair, red/pink eyelids, pink eyes, and nude lip colour. What should her other three eye colours be? Blue? Black? Grey?

Things that happened.
We caught a train to Museum.
We ate delicious burgers on Oxford St.
I saw a funny sign for a liquor shop on the same street.
I wore orange tights.
I finally started sewing the autumn skirt with the material I got in Newcastle.
I got two new pairs of shoes.

SYDNEY!
I can’t wait until I go home. I made a list of things I will do, and it made me happy:
Sew a skirt
Make bird plushies
Paint cardboard houses
Play around with my camera
Set up Capital Style
Get new hair
See friends again!
I remembered today that going home to Sydney also means Sydney shopping. I am doubly excited. I plan on popping into the American Apparel store on Oxford St and...

Staying warm.
I want this glove and had set from Dadaya.
However, since both these items are way, way out of my budget, I will have to do with the following alternatives instead:
Knitting scarves
Never leaving bed
Wearing pants instead of dresses
Comfort food
Hugs

Tuesday is for creepin'
So some time about 24 hours ago I developed this strange obsession with creeper shoes. I don’t own a pair, but Rosetta did, and she kindly lent them to me for the duration of the day.
In spirit of wearing creepers, I also managed to borrow Matt’s t-shirt, and dressed up complete from head to toe.
I tried looking angry/edgy/punky for these photos, but I guess I’m too asian for...

I see your true colours.
… and that’s why I love you. So don’t be afraid to let them show. Your true colours are beautiful like a rainbow.

The last 24 hours.
Has involved all manners of crazy, fun things.
We went out to Vietnamese dinner at this newly opened establishment. Here is what I ate, some variety of a fried rice dish with egg, pork chop, crab meat patty and other things. ‘Twas good.
Ashleigh had her first bowl of pho ever, and was quite happy with it. :)
The last 24 hours has also involved various forms of shopping.
For those...

BAD NEWS :(
ETA: Happy April Fools Day everyone! For all those that were fooled, I am sorry and I feel sufficiently like a douche right now… but all in good humour.
So I got an email from the staff at tumblr today. It seems like I’ve been breaching copyright due to my recent repostings, and tumblr have told me they’d delete my blog by the end of the working week.
I feel too sad about it...
